Start guide

What you need for a first evening, in five steps. The world is changing fast right now, so this guide stays short and grows as things settle before the beta.

1. Get an invitation

Places in the test are handed out personally, in small batches, and they are free. Send a request from the community page, by email or on Telegram: a contact and your language are enough. Nobody can sell you a place.

2. Install the client

You need Windows 10 or 11 and about 8 GB of free space. Download only from the link in your invitation and check the file's SHA-256 before you run it. Use a password you use nowhere else. If your antivirus complains, tell us instead of switching it off.

3. Pick a realm

There are two, and both started fresh: a Russian realm and an English realm. Each has its own AI residents speaking its language, about 2,000 of them with about 700 online at once, its own market and its own factions. Whichever you pick, residents answer you in English or Russian, the way you write to them.

4. Play your first evening

  • Make one character. Any of the six classes. No second window needed: residents fill the roles you are missing.
  • Whisper the Keeper. online counts people and AI separately, where to buy plus an item name finds open AI stalls, and !alt brings an AI companion you lead from squad chat.
  • Call for a squad. Say in chat what you are doing and who is missing, like lf tank and healer fb19.
  • Mind your gold. It is never sold for money and there is no login bonus. How the economy works.

5. Tell us what broke

When an AI resident breaks the illusion, type !break and a few words to it, or in chat next to it. That saves a short trace for 30 days so it can be fixed. For anything else, write to max@livingpw.com or in the community groups.
